Directing your body to heal itself.
Getting started with us
1
Book your new patient telehealth consultation
Select the provider of your choice, or let us choose for you, then get your initial consultation done from the comfort of your home. (Payment is required when booked online. You may also call our office to book.)
*Consultations are no longer required for patients that have had acupuncture before AND are coming in for a pain-related ailment.
2
Personalized suggestions.
During your consultation, the provider will review your health history, go over your concerns, answer your questions, and make a suggestion for a treatment plan if you are a good candidate for acupuncture treatment.
3
Come into the office.
Your provider will help you book your first in-office treatment. Once you arrive, our staff will take your vital signs and help you get comfortable for your treatment. Then, it’s time to start your journey to pain-free living!
"Dr. Rachel and her staff at Integrative Acupuncture are all first-class practitioners. They are all thoroughly knowledgeable in acupuncture and Chinese medicine and my acupuncture sessions truly restore me. Additionally, I feel so comfortable and at ease in their office. They've created a lovely sanctuary."

How to prepare for your visit
What should I wear?
Try to wear loose, comfortable clothing if possible, but don’t worry, if needed we are happy to provide draping sheets so that we can access all the areas needed for treatment.
Should I do anything to prepare?
Make sure you don’t skip the meal prior to your appointment, unless your body is very accustomed to fasting (such as those that do regular intermittent fasting). Low blood sugar can sometimes cause patients to feel a little ill following their first session.
Is there anything I should avoid doing after?
The only activity we advise against in the hours following your sessions is vigorous exercise. Yoga, Tai Chi, and pilates are all fine to do immediately after, but doing more intense exercise like Crossfit or Zumba can negate some of the effects on your nervous system that help acupuncture start to work. So, save those activities for the next day (or get them done in the morning BEFORE you come in for treatment!).
